OLP’s Youth Ministry program is focused on helping your family and the parishioners to mentor youth into a deeper relationship with Christ Jesus through all opportunities that your youth can experience. There will be numerous opportunities to grow the faith of your families, personal formation for your youth, opportunities of fellowship with youth they know and others God has intended for them to meet at social gatherings, retreats, mission trips, Steubenville Conference, National Catholic Youth Conference, Camps, etc. They can embark on a life long journey with the Youth Ministry program which will constantly challenge them to deepen their faith.
Michael is a dedicated Catholic ministry leader with a passion for accompanying young people and young adults as they grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and discover their place within the life of the Church. In this role, he helps lead and develop ministries for middle & high school youth, as well as programs serving young adults.
The ministry focuses on creating opportunities for faith formation, fellowship, service, retreats, mission trips, conferences, and meaningful encounters with Christ. The ministry works to foster an environment in which young people are welcomed, known, loved, and encouraged to deepen their faith. The parish’s youth ministry seeks to partner with families and the broader parish community to help young people develop a lasting relationship with Jesus while building friendships and growing in their Catholic faith.
The ministry also extends to young adults through opportunities for spiritual and religious formation, fellowship, spiritual direction, and vocational discernment. These efforts recognize that young adults have an important and active role in the life and mission of the Church.
Before serving at Our Lady of the Presentation, Michael served as the Pastoral Associate at Coronation of Our Lady and the Director of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of Kansas City–St. Joseph, where he worked to support Catholic youth ministry and Parish development.
Throughout his time in ministry, he has demonstrated a commitment to forming disciples, strengthening families, equipping adult leaders, and creating opportunities for young people to encounter Christ. His approach to Youth and Young Adult ministry emphasizes not simply providing programs, but helping young people develop a faith that can continue to grow throughout their lives.
As Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry, Michael continues to invest his time, leadership, and experience in building a vibrant Catholic community where young people can encounter Christ, grow in faith, and become active disciples who bring the Gospel into their families, communities, and the world.Below is the calendar for scheduled events during the 2026-2027 school year.

WHY SMALL GROUPS? Connecting with a small group of friends about faith matters is an amazing way to really immerse yourself in your faith with the personal attention, encouragement, prayerful support, and accountability you need for sustained spiritual growth. Love, purpose, meaning., and belonging, and being deeply connected…we all need these things. With them, our ordinary lives are transformed into extraordinary Christian lives. Discover the power of real life change. Discover the life you were made for. Small groups aren't just beneficial, they're biblical. From Moses (Exodus 18:13-26), to the Apostles (Acts 2:42), meeting together in small life-sharing groups encourages us in the faith (Hebrews 10:25).
Join us the next 4 years to strengthen and deepen your life in Christ. You will live as disciples of Jesus Christ in your world and responsible to participate in the life, mission, and work of OLP Catholic community. We will evangelize your personal and spiritual growth through justice and service, pastoral care, prayer, and worship. You will be encouraged to develop your leadership because God needs your help in the mission of His church. This will be accomplished through the collection of the best curriculum available.

YDisciple isn’t just another video resource. We understand that programs don’t make disciples. Only a disciple can. That’s why YDisciple couples video resources with extensive training and support for leaders.
Every month we will gather to grow in fellowship because "where 2 or more are gathered He is with us." It will be a mix of on campus and off campus fellowship gatherings. Where will we go? That is up to you every month that we gather.
