Michael is a dedicated Catholic ministry leader with a passion for accompanying young people and young adults as they grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and discover their place within the life of the Church. In this role, he helps lead and develop ministries for middle & high school youth, as well as programs serving young adults. 

The ministry focuses on creating opportunities for faith formation, fellowship, service, retreats, mission trips, conferences, and meaningful encounters with Christ. The ministry works to foster an environment in which young people are welcomed, known, loved, and encouraged to deepen their faith. The parish’s youth ministry seeks to partner with families and the broader parish community to help young people develop a lasting relationship with Jesus while building friendships and growing in their Catholic faith.

The ministry also extends to young adults through opportunities for spiritual and religious formation, fellowship, spiritual direction, and vocational discernment. These efforts recognize that young adults have an important and active role in the life and mission of the Church.

Before serving at Our Lady of the Presentation, Michael served as the Pastoral Associate at Coronation of Our Lady and the Director of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of Kansas City–St. Joseph, where he worked to support Catholic youth ministry and Parish development. 

Throughout his time in ministry, he has demonstrated a commitment to forming disciples, strengthening families, equipping adult leaders, and creating opportunities for young people to encounter Christ. His approach to Youth and Young Adult ministry emphasizes not simply providing programs, but helping young people develop a faith that can continue to grow throughout their lives.

The Young adults that you will meet are from all cultural communities and abilities, who are single or married, with or without children, and whom are impacting the Church. When you join us you will have an opportunity to connect with Jesus Christ through, Spiritual formation, Spiritual direction, Religious formation, Vocational discernment, Mission Trips, and numerous Fellowship gatherings below.
